Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the 021 Threadz website or placing an order with us.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or placing an order with 021 Threadz, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Shipping Policy, Returns Policy and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the website or place an order.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to limit any rights available to you under applicable South African consumer law.

2. Orders and Acceptance

All orders are subject to product availability, successful payment and acceptance by 021 Threadz.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation. This confirms that we have received your order but does not guarantee that the order has been accepted.

We may cancel an order where a product is unavailable, payment is not authorised, information contains an obvious error or fraudulent activity is reasonably suspected. Any payment already received for a cancelled order will be refunded using the original payment method where reasonably possible.

.

3. Product Information and Availability

We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, colours, sizes and other information displayed on our website are accurate.

Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings. Because garments are individually prepared and embroidered, minor variations in embroidery placement, texture, colour or finish may occur.

Product and size availability may change without notice. If an ordered item becomes unavailable, we will contact you and offer a suitable alternative or refund the affected item. An alternative will only be supplied with your agreement.

Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods are defective, unsafe or materially different from their description.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices displayed on the 021 Threadz website are in South African Rand.

Delivery fees and any other applicable charges will be displayed before you complete your order.

We take reasonable care to ensure that prices are accurate. Where an incorrect price is displayed, the matter will be handled in accordance with applicable South African law, and we may contact you before processing the affected order.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout. Orders will only be prepared once payment has been successfully confirmed.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, whose applicable terms and security procedures may also apply.

5. Custom and Embroidered Products

Certain garments are made, embroidered, personalised or otherwise prepared after your order and payment have been confirmed.

Please check your selected size, colour, design, spelling and other order details carefully before completing your purchase.

Once production has started, changes or cancellations may no longer be possible.

Where an item has been made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the cooling-off rights that apply to certain online purchases may not apply.

This does not limit your rights where an item is defective, unsafe, of unacceptable quality or materially different from what you ordered.

6. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled in accordance with our Returns Policy and applicable South African consumer law.

Items returned because of a change of mind must be unused, unworn, unwashed, in a sellable condition and have their original tags attached.

Personalised, customised or specially made products cannot ordinarily be returned because of a change of mind, except where required by law.

This restriction does not apply where goods are defective, unsafe, of unacceptable quality or materially different from their description.

Approved refunds will generally be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may depend on the payment provider.

7. Shipping and Delivery

Orders will be delivered to the address provided during checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their delivery address and contact details are complete and accurate.

Processing times, estimated delivery periods, tracking information and procedures for delayed or unsuccessful deliveries are explained in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates unless a specific delivery date has been expressly agreed. Delays may occur because of courier backlogs, severe weather, public holidays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We remain responsible for the order until it has been delivered to you or a person authorised by you, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Nothing in this section limits any right to timely performance, cancellation or a refund available under South African law.

8. Website Use and Intellectual Property

You may use this website only for lawful personal shopping and informational purposes.

Except for third-party trademarks, characters, artwork or other material belonging to their respective owners, the website design, 021 Threadz branding, original photographs, text, graphics and other content created by us remain the property of 021 Threadz or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our protected website content without prior written permission.

You may not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, misuse account information or use the website for fraudulent activity.

References to third-party brands or intellectual property do not imply endorsement, partnership or ownership unless expressly stated.

9. Privacy and Personal Information

We collect and process personal information required to operate our website, process orders, receive payments, arrange delivery, communicate with customers and provide support.

Personal information may be shared with trusted service providers, including payment processors, couriers, website hosts and other suppliers, where reasonably necessary to provide these services.

We will take reasonable steps to protect personal information and will process it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable South African data-protection law.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about the personal information we collect, how it is used and the rights available to you.

10. Liability and Website Availability

We take reasonable steps to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, we cannot guarantee that access will always be uninterrupted or completely free from errors, viruses or technical problems.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 021 Threadz will not be responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability arising from gross negligence, defective or unsafe goods, fraud or any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring that products are used and cared for according to the instructions supplied.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our website, products, business practices or applicable law.

The updated version will be published on this page and will apply from the effective date displayed.

Changes will not unfairly alter the terms of an order that has already been accepted, unless the change is required by law or agreed with the customer.

We may also modify, suspend or discontinue parts of the website where reasonably necessary. This will not affect accepted orders, which will either be completed or refunded where completion is no longer possible.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and Conditions and transactions made through this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly and fairly.

Where the matter cannot be resolved, customers may exercise any rights available through an applicable regulator, ombud, tribunal or court.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts any consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
